No, really....while attending BYU in Provo, Utah, I met a great friend. I told him a joke. Ever since then, Jason gave me the nickname Thumper. People started calling me Thumper, not really knowing why, which we always got a kick out of.

Thumper is a great name for the site. Like every other Z31, my Z has been through the "thump" of worn crossmember bushings or the added "thump" of a nice subwoofer --- the name has stuck with me for quite a while, and the name lives on @ the Z Forums.
